I have no knowledge of screen shot stuff. I dunno if it helps I use 
this, also .net, tool on Windows at home: 
http://blogs.geekdojo.net/brian/articles/Cropper.aspx

It lets you screengrab with offsets and specific with widths - if it has 
a batch mode the you're just about sorted in Windows land.
