Why choose Linux?

Linux is produced and promoted mostly by volunteers. It is (mostly) free and 
better than the  commercial products you see on sale in the high street and 
advertised on TV.

Why is Linux not sold in the High Street?

Because there is a monopoly on the Operating Systems sold in the High Street. 
This is a bad thing because monopolies make things cost more. They stifle 
choice and innovation.

Who benefits most from Linux?

Anyone who wants an inexpensive computer.

Who owns Linux?

Nobody.

Where can you find out more about Linux?

Scarborough Linux group meets at 183 Dean Road on the first Monday of each 
month.
