You could try a Firefox (or Chrome) add-on like "Video DownloadHelper"
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/

If you need to convert the format after download, "Handbrake" is a great 
program: http://handbrake.fr/
