Hi,

I'm a lurker on this list although I did manage to make one meeting about
a year ago.  Dates normally clash with the Wessex Discovery Owners Club
meeting,  an even sadder group of individuals :-)  This is a job advert
so some may consider it OT but it's Linux and it's local (Shiplake just
north of Reading).


ONELAN (www.onelan.co.uk) the company I'm technical lead for is looking
for enthusiastic Linux application programmers to add to the team.

To quote the paper advert that is about to go out:

  ONELAN is a fast growing development and manufacturing company operating
  in the networking and video fields. We build the key hardware and software
  components used in advanced multi-media Electronic Signage systems. Our
  products deliver high quality Video, Stills, Animation and Text to a
  variety of electronic displays.

The next project is authoring distribution and management software for
the Linux PC environment interoperating with Windows based front ends and
Linux based back end play engines using XML over HTTP.  Development will
probably be in a mixture of C, Perl and other languages.
