Hi all
I am trying to fool around with video editing packages such as kine and
filmgimp. However my video material is all in the form of short
quicktime .mov clips taken on my digital camera. It seems the mov format is
not supported by either of the above mentioned packages, so I scratched
around for a convertor and came up with gtranscode (gnome frontend for
transcode). However that does not seem to be able to conver my .mov files
either see printout below. Does anyone have anyone have any experience with
video editing under linux? Some pointers on sorting the error messages
printed out below would be gratefully received:-) I am running debian woody.
Thanks
Tim
