[sclug] Reading Community Wireless

Hi All,

Is there much community wireless activity in Reading?

I have found www.feeed.net, who have a few APs about the town (although I
think they are a wireless ISP). There also seems to be Consume at Reading,
who's site is currently down & their mailing list has had no traffic since
July 2004.

So is there anything else, if not is it worth starting something up a la
SOWN (sown.org.uk) etc?

Is there much interest here? For a network of APs (running the penguin),
connected here & there to the internet?
