please help!
I have beeen doing an LFS project and I have been fighting for weeks to get my
hewlett packard dj510 to print a full test page from CUPS or to use LPRng
instead. CUPS cannot find Ghostscript and reports a unrecoverable ghostscript
error* (ESPGhostscript 7.07 installed) as an excuse for not printing. It has
got to the stage where I need talking through it stage by stage or even a
personal visit to show what is going wrong. For LPRng, I need help devising a
printcap to get all the functionality and access ghostscript properly.
*CUPS error log:

I am a coping dyslexic and have trouble finding and processing information, so
the LFS advice of RTFMs is not adequate advice for me, especially in this
instance.
I can be found in a chatroom:
irc.linuxfromscratch.org (the typical 6667 setting)
/join #LFS-support
look for nickname Tizer
if you have the time to help. I have two LFS systems I can boot, one using
LPRng and one with CUPS, so let me know your preferential field of expertise!
For the LFSers out there, the CUPS system is an X term with no other X
environment installed and OpenOffice.org added for test printing.
LPRng will be running in a KDE 3.2 environment or console if required. Books
LFS5.0 and BLFS 5.0 have been the main benchmarks for installed software
(except KDE).
Printing is the one thing I don't 'get' and is the only thing that is stopping
me from using Windows or SuSE 8.2 instead!
