[sclug] Looking for people with IDS/IPS knowledge

So far, all the people we employ in the UK have come from sclug, so to
keep in a good tradition, I will throw this request open the sclug
first.

We are looking for people with the following skills (not all at once) to
get involved with CounterSnipe on either a permanent or a contract
basis. Part time and remote work is possible.

1. Snort experience
2. Rule writing experience
3. Java programming with the focus on servlet and some JDO experience
(JDO is a bonus)
4. Strong networking fundamentals
5. Finite State Machine development (C is a must and knowledge of the
Stream4 preprocessor is a big bonus)
6. Administration (must be efficient and prepared to take
responsibility)

If you are interested or know of people who might be interested, please

experience ranging from enthusiastic (must have *some* experience
though) to specialist.
