I must be missing something here but how is this going to be better than
ADSL?

The prices seem similar (well ok, a little less) and the area they are
targetting gets ADSL already.  I'd have thought you might have lower
latency over ADSL than wireless.

Now if they did higher speed connections than 1mbit...
