Ah yes,

Forgot about that :)  I'll have to dig my netbsd install out, just need
a monitor adapter and keyb/mouse.  Going to try and see if I can use the
Sparc lab on campus at some stage.

You'll have little chance of FreeBSD working on them. ISTR it only
supports UltraSparcs (sparc64) and even then only the PCI derivatives.

You missed out the one BSD that's probably the best supported on 32-bit
Sparc hardware; NetBSD :-)
