[sclug] wrecking gentoo

Erm trust me, I rebooted to do something in the doze (I wanted to look 
at something, I don't usually go into windows....) after doing an 
etc-update booted back in, the machine started to lockup when loading my 
sb drivers, then when I manually booted the kernel it went nuts..... Ah 
well.......
