Speant most of last night poking Smoothwall to see what it can do, now
to give ipcop a try. I am already very impressed by the addons and
community of ipcop (although their site is slow). Also the whole
Smoothwall commercial/ipcop freeness is a factor to consider.

www.ipcop.org

It just works, whether at home on a 486/66/64MB or at work on a Compaq
2500 dual PPro200/Compaq SMART array. There's loads of hacks should you
want any extras and the user community is helpful and
friendly

Something one of the founders of Smoothwall did has burned a life long
aversion to this product in me, whether he's there or not. Irrational,
maybe, but I can sleep at night.

Neil
