Lots of replies! Thanks, everyone.
I think I'm currently Debian'd out --- Linux and Debian is so heterogenous
that there's no challenge. In terms of other stuff, then given SF's compile
farm, which I didn't know about, and HP's Tru64 test drive program, I reckon
I have enough to be going along with.
Thanks for the various offers; I don't think I need to take any of them up,
but if I do, I shall report back...
