Hi all,

I am pleased to announce LUGRadio Live 2005.

LUGRadio (www.lugradio.org) is an Open Source radio
show that I have been a part of and offers a very
loose and fun radio show about Open Source. Since we
started LUGRadio, the show has done well and the last
show had over 13,000 downloads.

We are running a single day event that aims to provide
a truly interesting day for Open Source fans. Very
much a community event, we want to provide a series of
interesting and different presentations, space for
exhibitors, LAN gaming and more. We are not looking
for the kind of dull, dry presentations at other
shows, but presentations showcasing new technologies
and fun things to do with technology and Open Source.

The reason I am writing is to ask for your and your
LUG's help:

 - we are looking for paper submissions for
interesting talks for the event. See
http://www.lugradio.org/live/2005/papersub.php for
more details. People can submit as many talks as they
want, and we are encouraging fascinating, fun and
different talks.

 - we have a small exhibition area, and LUGs are
welcome to have a table to exhibit the LUG. It would
be great to have a bunch of LUGs at the event. We are
also looking for Open Source projects who want to
exhibit. Exhibiting is free.

 - we are hoping to attract as many LUG members across
the UK as possible, so it would be good to let them
know about the event. We really want to make this a
good day.

Here are the details:

LUGRadio Live 2005
WHEN: Sat 25th June 2005 - 12pm - 6pm
WHERE: The Terrace Bar @ Wolverhampton Wanderers
Molyneux Stadium, Wolverhampton.

If you could let your LUGs know about the event, I
would be grateful, and any help would be fantastic.
There is also some activie discussion about the event
on the forums at
http://forums.lugradio.org/viewforum.php?f=4

Cheers,

  Jono
