Yikes, not for the faint hearted IMO. Dapper is far from stable, and contains 
some fairly nasty bugs at the moment, e.g. these two that affect me:

Also, upgrading a breezy installation to dapper, rather than doing a fresh 
install, has been known to give people a lot of problems.

If you really need a newer version of Firefox just download the generic binary 
from the Firefox web site and install that. Much easier & safer!

For the menu button, right click on the kmenu and bring up the menu editor. 
Select the internet category then click on the 'new item' button and go from 
there.
