I use textdrive.com myself. They are a "different" host (check out their
website). Very reasonable rates and you can do pretty much anything you
want so long as it doesn't effect other people. For instance if you need
very specific Apache configuration they will put it in for you. They
support Ruby/Rails, Python, Subversion, PHP, etc, etc.

I'd definitely recommend them :)
