Hi
Im running a debian server with apache2 on host apple port 80.
I have several chrooted instances of apache running on that machine at e.g.
port 10050 domain banana
port 10060 domain carrot
I want to point banana and carrot dns to apple as if I was doing apache name
based virtual hosts, but transparently server the data from the highport
apache instance of the relevant domain.
Can someone tell me if this is possible and what the best way to do it is? I
presume this must be standard fare for doing load balancing etc...?
I looked at mod_proxy but was unsure if this is the correct tool for the job..
Thanks in advance...
Regards
Tim
