..if you haven't, insert the card and find out its PCI ID (either using
dmesg or lspci; I forget which) - it's a string of the form xxxx:xxxx
and then google for it.  IIRC one of the madwifi or ndiswrapper sites
maintains a list of cards that are compatible with associated PCI IDs.
