?189 quid? That does sound tempting to this below national average
income household (due to injuries received in construction as a young
man I'm unemployable now, alas, even had to give up my little personal
computing consultancy to look after sproggets my wife presented me with
in her mid 40s when she went suddenly all broody!).

My 10 yr old is frustrated at not being able to play Simcities societies
on any machines we have in the house, all below spec for the game!
Museum of computing running linux/*bsd with the exception of win98 and a
couple of xp licences for games (strictly off the net/web!!) as a
concession to the kids.

I've deleted back messages - are these base units without a screen or
complete units with a screen (don't really need any more monitors,
but...)

Anyone ANY idea what chipset and video card they are running? And the
video slot if an add on one can be stuffed in? Or how many memory chip
slots there are for upgrading to something useful?

I've oodles of win98se licences around from my old company days - as if
MS could be bothered about those being legit - and a few XPs dating back
to 2002 to be used up for kids to play game with (unless anyone has
cracked XP they could send me a cd so I can load that up for games, once
I've done online update these machines are strictly off the internet -
kids only allowed web browsing via a linux boot!
