[sclug] Language please, ladies and gentlemen (administrivia)

Hello all,

Could people perhaps use some common sense and restraint when addressing
themselves to the sclug list?

To clarify this:

is not acceptable. (I was going to add here, but really where is it?)

Also, announcements about events we might be interested in are fine but
posting every time a recurring event happens is probably going to annoy
someone.  I'm sure John can keep those who want such a reminder informed
in a different way.

Also someone said John came regularly to meets.  Whilst I've not been
myself very regularly I've not seen John in far too long.  Come to the
pub John!  I promise I'll try to more now too :)


So please be sensible people.
