It turns out that our Checkpoint firewall is licensed for Smart Defense
which can perform as a web application firewall (it has pre-configured rules
for lots of attacks), I'm glad I checked, now I don't have to touch that
mess for now.

I will, of course, take a look at this in a calm and measured way next week
as the CMS they're using is something I've never heard of before.  The PHB
has what he wants for now.
