[sclug] Recommendation for a laptop

Hello Gents/Ladies,

I am looking at buying a new laptop that would work well under Linux (I'm
more familiar with the lastest Ubuntu)? What I would like to have is an i7,
15' screen, weighting no more than 2.5kg if possible. I'm not a gamer, so
no big graphic card needed. It will be used primarily for coding and VMs
(12 to 16 GB of RAM). A large trackpad would be a plus.

Would anyone have a recommendation?
