[Scottish] Anybody bored this miserable Friday afternoon??

Howdy all, been a while since I said much on the group.
Anyway, I have just got myself a 'Teach Yourself C' book and I decided to
waste my summer holidays on making a small game. The game is a minesweeper
clone (No drones in the back now!) but with hexagonal 'squares' instead of
the more traditional square ones. Since I am new to the programming lark, I
dont know much about the distribution of them but I do have a version which
runs on Winblows and RH7.3. I was wondering if anybody was bored, would
they be able to download the (tiny) file and see if it runs on their distro.
Also, if there are any noticable bugs (apart from the user input - I have a
basic check to make sure valid input is obtained but it is not very robust,
any hints here would be greatly appreciated) could you please let me know.
Anyway, I have come to the end of my book and it hasnt said a thing about
graphics, which I want to know about so I can add a GUI to the game, any
suggestions here? ( I have an OpenGL eBook which I can use but do I need
OpenGL for 2D stuff?)
Thanks very much
Allan
