[Scottish] march meeting

I'm moving abroad next week, so last night i decided, last minute, to delurk
for one last time and come to a meeting.
I started late (19h25). I thought i knew from the 1 or 2 meetings 2 years
ago where the Livingstone Tower was. It turned out i didn't. So i had the
pleasure to wander Strathclyde campus by night for a while.
When i concluded i really hadn't the foggiest and was about to give up, a
friendly student pointed it out to me some 100m away. By that time it was
about 20h. I went into the building.
See, last time i came to a meeting it was ful of friendly penguin posters
pointing in the right direction, or at least giving the clue i was in the
right place. I had counted on that in the departing rush, and now i was in
the entrance of the building with not a single sign where to go. Of course
i didn't remember the room number, and there was no security guard in sight.
Well, no doubt the wireless talk was by that time well and truly over, and
i didn't feel like exploring a 13-floor building, blundering into the
offices of late night academic geeks.

So anyway, all that to say that i regret not to have come yesterday, to
connect names to faces, and maybe to have a last wee drink. (and the
wireless talk which i hope was totally uninteresting, sorry gavin :-) )
I might subscribe with my next address just to keep an ear, this is usually
a rather interesting mailing list, but any physical participation will be a
bit difficult. Thank you for the advice and help.

Traveling light: does anyone have any use for a Yamaha CD-RW 20 10 40 (model
escapes me) in perfect working order ? Please answer today on this address,
or else on e.huard at spacebug.eclipse.co.uk this weekend (after that i'm
gone).

good luck,

Elise
