[Scottish] ALSA filling up my disk

You'll probably get a proper answer, but a quick and dirty solution is 
to make .xsesion_errors a symbolic link to /dev/null.
 From your home directory type:
rm .xsession_errors
ln -s /dev/null .xsession_errors
It will still send those messages, but they won't get written to the disk.
