hey folks do any of you have the ability to reprogram an SOIC8 bios chip? I've got a laptop that has essentially eaten itself and won't boot from anything other than the network. I'm hoping completely reprogramming the chip will resolve it, as the alternative suggested by the manufacturer is to purchase a whole new mainboard at several hundred quid.
