I have used vnc overa 56k and the results are suprisingly useable. Have not
had much success with voice over IP on Windows. Is there a netmmeting clone
for Linux. That way we might be able to include those of use who currently
have to use Windows until we can make the move?
Cheers
Tony

Subject: [Sderby] Virtual Meetings
All,
At the last formal meeting, the idea was put forward to have virtual
meetings.
The idea being that in addition to the formal and informal meetings, we
could
meet up online. One idea is to meet in an IRC channel. I believe that Alan
had an SDerby channel setup on an IRC server. Is this still the case Alan?
Persuamble it would be better if we had several channels to keep the
conversations seperate? Would it be better if we had our own IRC server?
Can anyone think of any other ways of holding virtual meetings? Are there
anyways of doing a voice link? Would this work with a 56K link?
Mike.
