Hello all.

I have not made the acquaintance of any of you (yet) but have been 
lurking on the edges of the list for some time.

Seriously, have you tried SpamAssassin which will fileter suspected 
SPAM, applying sets of rules like looking for references to Viagra 
etc and then banging the lot into a SPAM file.  I am receiving 
uipwards of 20 spam messages a day on a domestic system but only a 
few find their way into my in box.

As an old git myself, I don't think my carer will let me out into the 
city to go drinking on a Friday but I would be pleased to swap 
e-mails with any of you and will give you my home phone number if I 
can be of help in any way.

Am running Mandrake-Linux 9.1 .
