James,  working till stupid o'clock is OK,  we don't generally leave the pub till closing time,  some of us also tend to eat in there so going home to eat is a lame excuse for missing out on a gossip!!.  If we are really keen we go straight to the pub from work and get in there well before 7.30,  like 6.30!

like Dave said,  he's not there tomorrow,  something about a dirty weekend up North!!!!,  as there's usually at least five of us we need a big table,  as none of us smoke its often table 23,  hidden behind a big column.Its bad for totty watching tho!.  If I can I'll grab the other table cos I won't be going home first. 

Provided I remember, the laminated penguin will find its way onto the table.
