Hi Matthew,

The problem is that IP forwarding simply routes packets between the two
NICs in the Linux box.  It will route packets from the 192.168.0.0 network
to their destination, however, the destination machine, whereever it may
be, will not know how to get back to your network.  You need to enable IP
masquarding (NAT) on your Linux box.  This will address the packets sent
from your network with the IP address of the external interface of your
Linux box, so that destination machines can find it.  I can't remember the
commands to enable IP masquarading, but I will have a look when I get home.

It's worth noting that your ISP is using the 192.168.1.0 network, which
isn't routable on The Internet either, so they too will be NATing at some
point.
