Ok
Go here http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html
Download the driver appropriate to you. Install that and see where you are
once you have the correct drivers installed. If you still have a prob then
post again.

Haven't done the NVIDIA install in a while but as I recall they have a very
easy shell installer.

Greetings

I installed the above on a dedicated PC without any problems. However the
screen resolution is not right as it is flickery and not rock steady. During
installation the system has installed the wrong model of for the graphics
card and has not recognized my monitor at all, hence the problem.
My graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 and the monitor a Iiyama Vision
Master Pro 510.
How do I get hold of the right drivers and install them?
Can someone recommend an e-book for absolute beginners like me so that I can
grasp the basic concepts at least before moving on to more complicated
matters?

Ranjit Verma
