If you're using Ubuntu, the Ubuntu Forums (ubuntuforums.org) are a
great place to kick off. I wouldn't reccomend using any scripts like
Automatix to get you going though. They set everything up for you, but
you never really learn what you're doing.
Nothing like messing up your xorg.conf a few times to get you into
linux-fu shape :D
