Hello,

Depends what DHCP client your machine's using: if it's DHCPCD, you can 
pass it a -R or --nodns parameter which prevents it from touching 
/etc/resolv.conf.

I've had a quick look at dhclient's man page - nothing obvious stands 
out but there may be something in there...

You might also try setting your /etc/resolv.conf file to be read-only - 
it may prevent your DHCP client from overwriting it...
