Yeh, although we already have the FFII http://www.ffii.org/
They have wide EU goals and had a major hand in the recent patents
fight. Since then the jurisdiction on patents still lies with the UK
PTO, which would be best lobbied by a UK organisation (amongst other
issues). no doubt both are needed, but we don't need another EU group as
this just disperses the efforts and weakens the voice IMO.
