the deposit has been paid.

I will confirm menu choices as soon as Momma Cherri's have confirmed them to
me.  I do not envisage any problem on that front.  I will bring the list
with me to the meal because I know you'll all forget what you ordered!

I think we should try to arrange to meet up somewhere close by before
turning up at Momma Cherri's.
