[Sussex] Sylpheed C+P Problem - Help?

Thanks for that, it is usually URLs that I'm copying. I didn't realise you could double click on the url to open the browser, I'm still used to a pretty little hand to tell me when things are clickable ;). I changed it to phoenix %s in the preferences and it's working great now (no delay though, unlike when I was using OE).

In short, welcome to Release Candidiate Debugging land.. if you installed from the current live-boot disc then you're using Gentoo 1.4 Release Candidate 1, which means you have the very latest version of sylpheed from the portage tree and it has a couple of bugs - that is one of them.
