I think that is one is impossible to predict.  It depends how they do 
it.  Sun's version of Open Source is very different from IBM's.

IANALBYWI [1] What's the copyright on the DVD?

Yes - but does the King's Head have a broadcast license.  As I
think was said at the last moot (but not generally) if one was
to "play" a BBC Radio 4 show on you're laptop to a public group you'd
be breaking the BBC copyright.

I think it would be better to have a number of private screenings
around your place, but please check that I'm correct with more 
knowledgeable people hint hint.
