I would suggest that following last nights result wearing a Real Madrid top
to a pub might not be the wisest move. That said I was threatened with
physical harm recently for suggesting that (most) IT service companies
become Microsoft Certified Solution Providers principly as a marketing tool
rather than because they have an interest in delivering the best solution
possible, so I guess a Real Madrid shirt might be an acceptable risk. My
point being that unless said company is also equally devoted to
investigating other solutions they are _not_ in a position to tell you what
the best solution is (unless you particular definition of "best" presupposes
a Microsoft solution). I should point out that I wasn't saying that
Microsoft solutions are inherently bad (best get that in or Mark'll have me
:)) other than the obvious social, economic and political problems inherent
in any monopoly (never mind a monopoly in one of the most important
industries in the modern world).
See you tonight!
