1 is, contrary to the assertion last night, Odd.

1 is not, however, Prime.

I was, however, most impressed at the level of confidence expressed by
virtually the entire team in getting Nick to believe that 1 was a special
case Even number... Most impressive, team :-)

And, to answer the question "why is one not prime", the basic answer is
"there's a whole bunch of general properties that prime numbers have, and
one doesn't have them :-)"
