Guys,
Incase anyone didn't hear me already - don't touch Lindows with a barge pole
- it's flakey as hell.
The latest problems my colleague has:
After a period of use the dektop, startmenu and panel in KDE will be unable
to launch programs through icons - the following message is give:
"Klauncher could not be reached via DCOP"
This problem only occurs when the machine is connected to the internet.
This sounds to me like some rougue process is killing DCOP - steve has to do
a ctrl-alt-backspace to get out of this. The best candidate for the
"rougue" is Lindows own Click 'n' Run program that runs constantly in the
panel and communicates with the mothership when the machine is online.
Anyone have any thoughts?
