Yeah cause it would be a real bad idea to plug an ADSL Router into the
back of a customers Ethernet Connection on their business server and leave
oh, i dont know port 23 Telnet open to the world wide script kiddie
symposium. Not mentioning the lack of running ipchains on said connection. 

Yeah that would be real bad... we'd really need to rant about that
wouldnt we.

especially when we bent the ear of our colleagues about just such bad
implementations !

actually I use a Alcatel as my firewall.  but then my whole network is
like Consume so ... heheheh


i dont need IPCOP cause im not VPNing or using more than the one IP
handles and I know im not going to need the flexibility of IPCOP and its
logs/analysis/rules which would be a real benefit to a business such as
the one Wired4Life/3ait uses at its offices.
