Which was exactly my point! He would accept that IIS was written in C++,
but he couldn't make the mental leap that it was thus possible for C or C++
to replicate the functionality of an ASP page. I wasn't saying that C was
the optimal choice, but as the whole argument was ludicrous any way I
thought I'd best disprove it all :)

Well, he's not (and has never been) my boss, he's my former colleagues boss,
and he doesn't need educating - he's all for making the move (he considers
it a good career move to save the company money).
