Dang.. I've been meaning to buy the O'Reilly horse tee-shirt for so long..
too late now!

Oh well, guess it'll have to be a Gentoo Tee instead :)

Talking of aniversaries - this LUG will be four years old in April.

A lot of people will be looking confused at this point.. .. well, it's
true, the Sussex Linux User Group was formed in April 1999. The thing is,
it had no activity on it for a long time, so long in fact that despite
several attempts to contact the LUG master I had, since late 2000 subscribed
and unsubbed from this list no less than 5 times without ever seeing a post.
In April last year when I subbed one last time, I got a response!

The original LUGmaster having long since gone from the deserted LUG we
agreed that Gareth Ablett should apply to become the new Lugmaster ahead of
the first meet in May last year, since which time the LUG has gone from
strength to strength. As both the foundation and reformation of the LUG
occured in April what say we do something to commerate the LUGs 4th/1st
Birthday?
