No disagreement here.. I just though it would make life simpler to setup my
way.  You are absolutely right about the benefits of seperation.  

I'd just like to second Steve's point . .where possible swap space on a
seperate physical disk can really help your systems performance.  This is
especially important on multi-processor machines as their memory habit is at
a more advanced stage than most single CPU machines and when they want it
they want it __NOW__!
