I know how you feel I had the same problem.  I'm almost tempted to sell you 
one of mine but:
  1). The ones that work are installed on working hardware,
  2). Most are old and I wouldn't dare ask much for them, and
  3). I still haven't got all the data of them for tomorrow night.

But if you check out www.dabs.com they have a number if 2.5" hard drives in
stock starting from around £70 [1].  As you're going to put you hand in your
pocket anyway thing about new - you get a guarantee - 3 years with the IBM
Travelstars.
