[Sussex] Running root programs in X?

All,

I need to run a few programs in root mode on my laptop and I need to
know if there's a way of doing this from the menu as opposed to firing
up a command prompt and then doing su -c.

I remember that under KDE this was possible, with Gnome also, but my
poor little laptop won't cope with that kind of programe, I'd like to be
able to do it on flux box...

Answers on a postcard please...

Matt

BOFH Excuse #212: Of course it doesn't work. We've performed a software
upgrade.
