[Sussex] File Permissions and Uploading

Hi,

I'm writing a web interface to upload some files (photo's for my
brother's band) and I'm wondering what permissions I should set on the
directory I'm uploading them into.

I'm guessing 777 is way out, but would 755 suffice, or would people
suggest 744 or a more obscure combination?
