Having not yet made it to a moot, I feel a bit wary of venturing an opinion
on venues, but here goes anyway:
I am not a fan of pubs (I don't drink) & would welcome the chance to
use/build/upgrade/compile/etc. & generally learn more about Linux.
This way, I *might* manage to swing it to come along earlier in the evening
& set off home when people are thinking of pubs & food.
Just my 2p worth.
