David,
I don't know if, like me, you prefer to have a printed copy of whatever doc's
you are following to hand, but when you check http://www.gentoo.org/ and
follow the links to the documents section, the only "printer friendly"
versions appear to be the installation guide.
a quick search of the gentoo forums, mentions that if you follow the links to
whatever document you want to look at, e.g.
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/portage-user.xml if you then change the URL to
read http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/portage-user.xml?style=printable you get a
printable version, the post that I read seemed to be of the opinion that the
addition of "?style=printable" works in nearly all cases with gentoo doc's
As I say, I don't know if you'll find this useful, but I have, I'm busy
printing some of them off now.
regards
John D.
