[Sussex] Gentoo stages

Got 3x PIII 550 Xeons from the US just waiting for the fourth to arrive then 
I'm going to reinstall Gentoo.
Was wondering from which stage to start ?

Stage 1
	Will take a while but will give best optimisation
Stage 2
	Can download a PIII optimised stage 2 which will save time
Stage 3
	Tried this. Want something better.

So it's a toss up between stage 1 or 2

Im thinking that a quad Xeon deserves best optimisation even tho it's a bit 
old now.

How about you ?
